Philip J. Armstrong currently works for Sony Pictures Entertainment as Director of Digital Research and Analytics.

As the previous head of eXelate Consumer Insights & Audience Targeting Solutions, Philip helped brands with online touchpoints gain real-time understanding of their customers and used these insights to increase customer engagement, retention, and ROI.

Before joining eXelate, Mr. Armstrong was Senior Director Sales for comScore, developing its business within the online advertising space. He specialized in helping digital advertisers (agency and brand clients) measure campaign effectiveness, reach, and cross-media impact. His clients have included, Microsoft, Expedia, Sony, HP, and Samsung, as well as other leading online retailers and travel agencies.

Educated in Europe and the United States, Mr. Armstrong holds an MBA in Marketing and Market Research from San Diego State University (SDSU). At SDSU, he helped establish the Center for Integrated Marketing Communications.
