Senior Market Research Manager (SRM)
Quantitative Analysis Department

Reports to Senior Director of Research on the Quantitative Analysis Team
(Permanent WFH Position)

Role:

The Senior Market Research Manager is an important role at the agency and is rooted in the development of client relationships, effective team management, and outstanding strategic and quantitative research skills. The job requires at least 5 years of experience, with a proven record of successful project design, execution, and leadership experience. We are seeking a seasoned professional who is ready to contribute to our company from day one and who can contribute to our long-term strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • When necessary, act as a point of contact with clients and manage key accounts actively to build working relationships and manage the overall client relationships both pre and post projects.

  • Ensures highest client satisfaction measured by NPS.

  • Support sales and business development during the proposal writing phase by advising on best research practices, approaches, and methodologies.

  • Design and execute quantitative studies with a hands-on approach from questionnaire writing, overseeing programming, QA of programming, overseeing data processing and advanced analytics, analyzing findings, and report writing.

  • Work with team to manage all quality control throughout project lifecycle.

  • Lead the report creation and presentation sharing with the client either via Zoom or in-person depending on client needs.

  • Create presentations with actionable business insights which align with client strategies.

  • Manage teams on larger, more complex projects such as vendors, or contractors.

  • Spearhead innovation and cost reduction initiatives for survey projects.

  • Support business development with the creation of marketing material for new products and innovative research approaches.

  • Mentor additional research staff, including strategic review and feedback of all project deliverables.

  • Other duties as assigned.

This role is more than “running complex research projects and client accounts” – it’s about managing client partnerships and moving them forward. The SRM must not only foster superb external client relationships but be flexible and able to build trust and confidence with their internal colleagues. It is also expected that the SRM will play an essential collaborative part ensuring that Zeitgeist Research continues to be a forward thinking and innovative agency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional quantitative market research experience

  • Familiar and experienced with latest research methods

  • Exceptional follow-up, written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Willing to learn and/or work with other internal company tools as needed

  • Able to travel 10%+ of the time
